Indotechboy — Gokukoku no Brynhildr or Brynhildr in The Darkness is a science-fiction anime series adaptation from a manga with same title. The anime story plots covered the first 100 chapters of the manga.
Gokukoku no Brynhildr anime is filled with blood and unsightly scenes. I don’t recommend you who are under 18 years old to watch this show.
Murakami Ryouta is a 2nd grade high schooler whose love to watch the night sky, just to seek proves of the existence of aliens. Suddenly, a female transfer student that very resembles of his dead childhood friend transferred in to his school and what’s more, she is saving Ryouta’s life from a mudslide using her superpower and foresight magic.

Gokukoku no Brynhildr anime review
As one of fan who comes from the manga, I think Gokukoku no Brynhildr anime did an “okay” works. Most of the review of this anime series I read out there is probably like half of them negative, but for a fan who is already grown attached to the characters I found this anime of a good show.
The character design in Gokukoku no Brynhildr anime while it is not great, it is still good. I feel like the character design is not done too well on adapting the manga. There are still on some scenes that the chatacters looks really alike in the manga. Mostly the character design looks greats, in term similar to the manga, when it is zooming in to their face.
The story pace in this anime however I too, as a fan of Gokukoku no Brynhildr manga found it too rushed. Characters speaks very fast and probably like, 80% of the scenes are filled with the characters dialogue so the feels of it is too rushed is unbearable. There are some arc of the manga that is being cut on some, and even being cut completely (Too bad because it is one of most epic arc in the manga).
If the anime really could not able fit 100 chapters into 13 episodes, honestly I feel much better if it ended in the halfway, instead trying to crammed whole the 100 chapters but removing some important arc and epic fight scenes. If an anime sold well, then they just can make another season, right 😉 ? Because the anime project is different from the manga which must keeping up with its magazine release schedule.
And finally, there is one spot I found really interesting from Gokukoku no Brynhildr anime, it is the soundtrack song. The first opening “-Ver.EJECTED-” is really an awesome, epic and unique experience in my anime watching history. The first opening is some like lyricless techno music remix with dynamic beats, trully moodbuster when everytime I hear it.
While The second opening soundtrack “Vice and Virtue” is not something I like, I found it very interesting after I watched a fan creation of a hillarious “misheard lyrics” video based of this soundtrack on Youtube 😂.
