Short review of Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara anime
Rating: 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐✴️
This is my first time watching an anime I accidentally “found along the road” 😀. Usually I watch an anime because the anime is an adaptation of the manga that I read or I want to rewatch an anime that I’ve seen on TV. But this time it’s different, I was know this anime first when I was browsing and listened to the song “17-sai” and I like it very much. It turns out that the song is the soundtrack of the anime Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara, I read the synopsis of the story, feels it have a great story and I watched it and it turns out that this anime series is good.
When I read the synopsis, looked at the art style, and the slice of life tag, I thought will I watch it or not, because I thought Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara would have a sad story. Because my life is already sad, I don’t want to add it more 🤣.
Stunning visuals. My first impression watching the Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara anime series is “wow”, this is the best anime in term of visual effects I’ve ever watched so far (maybe also because most of the animes I have watched is old animes released in 2015 and older 🤣). The anime really gave special touchs to the colors and light effects.
Storyline. The background story of Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara anime actually offers so much potentials such as magic and time travel. But apparently the anime story decided to be more focused on the drama and its slice of life (unfortunately, to me). Also with a little bit of romances shipped between the main plot.
But if we look at the main premise of the story, Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara anime is consistent with it ’till the end of story. This is all about Hitomi and how the mental problem she suffered made her unable to see the beautiful of the colorful world.
How Hitomi’s character develops, and how her time travel could change her. The romantic story for me is not so romantic at all and even a bit ugly. The plot and the romantic story of “high school teenagers” presented in the Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara anime series aims to be a realistic and does not target “miracles will happen and everyone would be happy 😀”.
Soundtrack. The soundtrack is another thing got this anime its strong points, especially the opening and closing songs (Hell yeah, It’s because I listened to “17-sai” that I get to know Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara anime 🤣).
Overall, Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara anime series is a beautiful work of art with a bittersweet storyline. It’s really worth to watch for anime lovers 😀.
Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara anime synopsis
In a future where technology has been advancing rapidly and “instant magic” has become commonplace in everyday life, there lives a girl named Tsukishiro Hitomi.
Even though she is a “magician”, Hitomi is not good at using magic, and she instead hates magic. For Hitomi, it was magic that caused all the suffering to come to her, including the reason why she could not see colors. Hitomi could no longer remember colors and all she could see is black and white.
Seeing Hitomi’s condition like that, Kohaku, Hitomi’s grandmother cast a time magic to send Hitomi on a time travelling back to 60 years ago when Kohaku was still a teenager without a clear reason. So, will Hitomi able to find the answer why her grandmother sent her on a time travel back to 60 years ago?
