Indotechboy — Looking out for a good Android app for your portable notes and memos? I myself pretty depend on note and to-do app on my Android phone to jot down the ideas came to my mind and remind me to do occuring tasks.
Sure there are a lot of notes and to-do Android apps on the market. Most of them is free with ads, while some remain free with premium features sale, and a little of them are free at all cost.
After I got a new Android phone, I then was searching the perfect notes and to-do list app for my Android phone. The criteria I used are:
- Basic function of create notes and to-do list.
- No ads
- Nice homescreen widget support
1. D Notes – Smart and Material – Notes, Lists, and Photos
And besides the basic functionality of notes and to-do list app, D Notes is also high customizable on its theme and its has colorful homescreen widget support.
There are also interesting features like we can attaching picture, sound, file, or video to our notes. We can also set once or repeating reminder to our notes.
2. Google Keep – Notes and Lists
If you depend on Google apps and services much, then Google Keep is the right choice to go for your notes and to-do lists app.
While Google Keep will be more than enough as our standard notes and to-do list Android app, it also has a very beautiful Material design. As expected from one of Google’s app.
3. FairNote – Encrypted Notes & Lists
FairNote Android app has focus on the security and simplicity, while it has standard function as notes and to-do list and neat user interface. The full reminder feature only available as a premium feature though.
A great feature that may will make you love FairNote is it is support for Markdown syntax formatting. Make our notes and to-do lists even more dynamic using the simple Markdown text formatting.
4. ColorNote Notepad Notes
If you have an old or low hardware specification Android device, then ColorNote may will suit you very well. With being very lightweight and small application size, ColorNote will run blazing fast on almost any Android device.
ColorNote was my primary notes and to-do lists app on my old Android phone. Don’t be fooled by its simplicity and smallness, ColorNote features is powerful enough even to head-to-head with Google Keep.
